Instructions

  • From a seated position, come onto hands and knees and move into downward facing dog.
  • Step into a high lunge with your right foot.
  • Inhale while you raise your hands toward the ceiling.
  • Lower your arms, parallel to the floor, palms down.
  • Bend at the hip, place your left hand on the outside of right foot.
  • Raise your right hand in the air and gaze at your right thumb.
  • Hold this position for 30 seconds to a minute.
  • To come out of the pose; exhale and place your hands on either side of the front foot.
  • Place your right foot back and move back into downward facing dog.
  • Return to sitting.
