Building Gentle Awareness

A slow and mindful class that helps you build body awareness while gently increasing mobility.

Today’s session

In this lesson, we continue building awareness by moving slowly and intentionally. The goal today is to help you notice how your body feels as you transition between poses, while staying connected to your breath. This is not about strength or flexibility yet, but about learning to move with care and attention.

As you practice, focus on smooth breathing and steady movement. Try to inhale as you create space in the body, and exhale as you soften or fold. If you feel tension or resistance, slow down and reduce the range of motion. Yoga should feel supportive, not forced.

This lesson introduces simple standing and seated elements that encourage grounding and balance. Over time, these basic patterns will help you feel more stable and confident on the mat. Stay patient and remember that every practice builds on the last.
