Activating Strength and Awareness

A steady class that introduces light strength work while maintaining focus on breath and control.

Today’s session

In this lesson, you will begin to explore simple strengthening poses that help wake up the muscles while staying mindful and controlled. The focus is on awareness rather than effort, allowing you to feel how your body supports itself in different positions.

As you move through the practice, keep your breathing calm and steady. Strength poses can sometimes trigger tension, so regularly check in with your shoulders, jaw, and breath. If you notice strain, ease back and reconnect with a slower pace.

This lesson helps you develop confidence in supporting your own body weight. These foundations will gradually make everyday movements feel more stable and supported, both on and off the mat.
