Slowing Down and Releasing

A grounding class that focuses on slowing the pace and releasing tension through familiar poses.

Today’s session

In this lesson, the focus is on slowing down and allowing the body to release unnecessary tension. After several days of building strength and coordination, this practice encourages you to move with less effort and more awareness. Take your time and let each pose feel settled before moving on.

Use your breathing as a tool to relax. Notice where your body may be holding tension and consciously soften those areas as you exhale. If the pace feels slow, allow yourself to stay present rather than rushing ahead.

Practices like this help balance more active days and support recovery. By learning when to slow down, you are building a more sustainable and enjoyable yoga routine.
