Opening the Front of the Body

A steady class that focuses on opening the chest and front of the body while maintaining support and control.

Today’s session

In this lesson, the focus shifts toward opening the front of the body, including the chest, shoulders, and hips. These areas often tighten through daily activities, so today’s practice encourages upright posture and ease of movement. Move slowly and allow each pose to feel supported.

As you practice, pay attention to how your breath moves through the chest. Try to keep your breathing relaxed and natural, especially as you open the front of the body. If you feel compression or discomfort, reduce the depth of the pose and focus on length rather than effort.

This lesson helps balance strength with openness. By gently working with back bending and upright poses, you are supporting healthier posture and greater comfort in everyday movement.
